Michael is a Director in the Tax Department and has been advising corporations, partnerships, individuals, and tax-exempt organizations on tax matters since 1978. He has extensive experience working with closely held businesses in the retail, distribution, manufacturing, construction and service industries. Michael has handled an abundance of complex tax issues on a variety of entity types including businesses with international and multi-state tax issues. His background has provided him with extensive experience and knowledge of corporate taxation and related issues such as executive compensation and related party accounting transactions with elaborate tax implications. Michael invests a significant amount of time in client relationships to obtain a fuller understanding of their goals and objectives before recommending a long-term strategy to tax minimization. Clients truly appreciate his common sense approach and seek his valuable input on a variety of business issues.
