Frank A. Insero, CPA
Managing Member
Frank A. Insero graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo and began his career as a tax accountant at Arthur Andersen. He left Arthur Andersen to become a founding partner of Bonadio, Insero & Co. Sixteen years later, Frank formed the firm, Insero & McLaughlin, LLP. In 1998, this firm merged with Cortland L. Brovitz & Co. which has been renamed Insero & Company CPAs, P.C. Today, Frank is the CEO of Insero & Company and managing member of Insero Wealth Strategies, LLC.
Frank is an active supporter of higher education and has served as Adjunct Professor at St. John Fisher College, Nazareth College and RIT, where he has taught specialized courses on tax in real estate, partnerships, tax shelters, international operations, accounting methods and estate planning. In addition to his CPA license, Frank is a licensed life insurance agent and a registered investment advisor.
During his career Frank has been active in the Rochester community, serving on the Boards of Highland Hospital, Locust Hill Country Club, The Center for Missing and Exploited Children, The Humane Society at Lollypop Farm and The Boys & Girls Club of Rochester. He was nominated and selected as a finalist to the Small Business Council's Business Person of the Year for 2006. Frank resides in Victor, New York with his wife Sharon.
Alan J. Pecora, CPA, JD
Senior Manager
Alan is a senior tax manager in our Tax Department with more than 17 years experience in the estate & trust area. Alan joined Insero in 1999 after practicing with various law firms. He concentrated his law practice in the areas of Estate & Trust Administration & Tax law.
Alan holds a Bachelors degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from St. Bonaventure University. He obtained his law degree from Seton Hall Law School. Alan is a certified public accountant in New York. He is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association, Trust & Estate Section. He is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Rochester.

Brian G. Cannon
Director
Brian is responsible for providing financial solutions to high net worth individuals, businesses and employee benefit plans. He has more than 20 years of banking and financial services experience. Brian has held a variety of management and sales positions for a major regional bank, notably as senior financial consultant responsible for the development of client relationships that included investment management, brokerage, estate planning, employee benefits and insurance services. Brian holds a B.S. degree from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, and an M.B.A. from Canisius College.
Brian E. Zdrowak, CPA
Investment Advisor
Brian provides financial solutions to individuals, trusts, businesses and employee benefit plans. He first joined Dopkins as an auditor in 2005 and became part of Dopkins Wealth Management, LLC team in 2007. Before that, he served as a relationship manager at a large local marketer and distributor of food service products. He earned a B.A. from SUNY Buffalo and an M.B.A./Professional Accountant from Canisius College. Brian also serves on the Orchard Park High School Academy of Finance Advisory Board.
Chad R. O'Connell AIF®, QPFC
Investment Advisor
Chad provides financial services to high net worth individuals, business owners, trusts, and qualified retirement plans. Chad has over 17 years of investment advisory, and employee benefit experience. He has been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from the foundation of fiduciary studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh. He has received formal training in investment fiduciary responsibility. Chad also holds the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant credential from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). Chad has held a variety of client service and relationship management positions for a major regional bank, notably as a senior Retirement Services Relationship Manager responsible for managing corporate and institutional retirement programs for the Bank's Western New York region. Chad holds a B.S. degree in Finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from Canisius College.
Craig R. Cirbus
Investment Advisor
Criag is responsible for providing financial solutions to high net worth individuals, businesses and employee benefit plans. He has over 9 years of experience in investing and wealth management and served as a licensed Financial Advisor in the Buffalo offices of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith. Craig was awarded the George Thorn Award by the UB Alumni Association in 1997 and has been a volunteer member of their Alumni Advisory Board. He also currently serves on the advisory board of the Brothers of Mercy Foundation.
